CAM-O-Gram

This THURSDAY, Feb. 9, is the deadline for submission of articles for the next issue of the CAM-O-GRAM (CAM's biweekly e-mail newsletter), with a scheduled publish date of FRIDAY, Feb. 10

PLEASE take a few minutes to sit down, think about what is going on with your programs, and share it with the CAM community. This could be information on new employees, job openings, success stories, new activities, resources to share, events coming up, and/or anything of interest to the greater CAM community.

For those you you who are uncomfortable with e-mail, you can mail (if you start now!) or telephone me. And please don't worry about your sentence structure, grammar, spelling, etc.! I'm happy to edit (spell-check, sentence structure, etc.) as appropriate.

Also, if you know someone (staff, friends, etc.) who would like to be on the distribution list for the Cam-O-Gram, send me his/her e-mail address, and I will add him/her.

Why Give Through the CAM?

Community Impact
Giving through the CAM allows you to put your charitable dollars directly to work in your own community and often across a broader geographical area.

Flexibility
The
CAM can accept nearly any kind of gift - from cash and real estate to stock and other appreciated assets.  An individual, family, business or organization can create a charitable fund for virtually any charitable purpose.

Simplicity
Creating a charitable fund through the CAM can be far less complicated than establishing and maintaining a private foundation.

Tax Benefits
Gifts and bequests to the CAM typically receive the maximum income, gift and estate tax benefits. Integrating a charitable giving program through the CAM with your overall financial plan can further these benefits.

Cost effectiveness
Because the CAM manages many individual donor gifts, we can service and administer each of them at a fraction of the cost of a private foundation.

Recognition
Endowing a fund at the CAM is a fitting way to memorialize or honor a loved one and create a permanent legacy that will be remembered for generations.  Conversely, the CAM can carefully protect a donor's identity, if that is desired.

Call our Donor Services Team today at 415-485-1489 and we'll help you get started.
