There are so many perks to being an SMMC member! In addition to our Events, Playgroups, Newsletter and Online Forum, SMMC provides programs to further support and nurture our members and local community.

In-A-Pinch
The In-A-Pinch program coordinates meal delivery for new moms or mothers who are otherwise "in-a-pinch." SMMC members are contacted by email once a year and asked to be "on-call" that month to prepare and deliver a meal. We try to match our moms-in-need with a volunteer who lives nearby to make it easy on all parties and sometimes lead to meeting neighbors they never knew!

M.O.M.S. (Moms Offering Moms Support)
SMMC M.O.M.S. is a program that facilitates direct member-to-member support on various challenges that moms and children face. Volunteers with personal experience are on-call to help to guide another member. Topics include autistic spectrum disorder, adoption, divorce, depression, fertility issues, special needs children, etc.

Community Outreach
Our focus is to support charities that help women and children but our scope also extends to other non-profits in Marin County. For example, we organize volunteer opportunities and conduct donation drives throughout the year to gather supplies for Marin families in need. We also hold donation drives four times/year in conjunction with SMMC family events. Contact the Community Outreach team to find out about upcoming events or to make a donation.
